We are talking about doing a Seminole Interpreter camping and craft building event for the reenactors--no public--just for ourselves. A few years ago there were some craft building and reenacting weekends for just the living history interpreters and reenactors. David Mott organized some at Camp McGregor Smith and other places. Last year David had a one-day get together at his house near Orlando.
Last weekend a few of us were talking with Brian at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, and want to have a get-together early next year.
It will be at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. We will have outfitting for the new folks, with camping out on the field (now elevated so it doesn't collect water.)We will go out into the slough and see some of the natural areas. Last weekend we saw where the old, large cypress trees were. (I would like to camp out at the second area we saw.) And anything else folks want to do for sharing and fellowship. Sound good?
