Today I went out to the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum, where Brian talked about making dugout canoes.
I was looking through my photos of canoes, and this one above looks like the one they have in the museum that became the mold for the fiberglass canoes they made.
We also saw the Inman painting of Micanopy, which the McKinney Hall print is based upon.
It was like this, but with a dark background, and in excellent condition. Even the frame was in great shape. It is now on display at the museum. There are details in the painting that you won't get out of this repro I show here.
Then for afternoon I went back to the park to work where it rained buckets and nothing happened.
