The answer to the origin of the name for Muskogee: It translate's to King's voice or King's tongue. The word for pig or hog is shogee, slightly different. As always, differences can be slight in the language. And it depends on who you ask!

Everything is really greening out on the boardwalk behind the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. Even though it is still very dry.

They are taking down the Osceola exhibit (three months later than originally planned.) Of course it was a big hit. I wish I had a copy of the German movie they were playing. Titled something like, "Osceola, the Right Hand of Vengence." It was pretty funny, but looks like they filmed some of it down here. Those royal palms don't grow in too many places.
