I have a lot more photos to go through, but these are to start. My favorites.
More to come.
This has to be the prettiest place we have to camp for any of our events.
Two of our long-time reenactors from Fanning Springs who have been doing this for about 15 years and have some good outfits. Although it was a busy weekend, everyone was able to visit in camp and visit with friends.
Two of our other friends from north Florida. Betty is working on card weaving on the loom.
Matt did an excellent job of narrating the event for the Black Seminole point of view. He has grown into a very well-spoken young man and did a fine job of speaking. And to let the ladies know, he turns 18 next month.
The mountain howitzer.
Major Cooper putting the audience to sleep. (Hey Harry, are you immune to chiggers?)
After the battle. This view gives a good perspective of the battlefield and fort site.
And this is my favorite view of the warriors with the pond in the background. Or what can be called the rock album shot.
More photos to come tonight; I promise! (And the best ones!)
