Sawgrass just called me.
Another one of our family has passed away.
Chobee / David Exum has been involved in reenacting as long as I have. I have known his family for many years. His funeral is on Wednesday, Sept. 27th.
The funeral home is:
Wells Funeral Home
1903 W.Reynolds St.
Plant City, FL 33563
813-752-1111
Viewing is at 9 a.m., service is at 10 a.m., both at the funeral home.
The burial is at 1 p.m., at the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Bushnell.
I have heard that there are other activities that may be afterwards, but I do not have details.
Reenactors please come dressed in your historic garb.
Current Location:
the Hammock
Current Mood:
sad sad

Chobee
I wish I could be there in my outfit. There were times when Chobee added some much needed dignity to Florida reenactments, in contrast to the yahoos playing "cowboys and Indians for grown-ups." - Rick Obermeyer
