Everglades National Park has three entrances on the Everglades Trail. Visit here at the Coe Visitor Center and enjoy numerous opportunities on the road to Flamingo on Florida Bay.
The South Dade Greenway Network, with additional recreational trails in the Everglades, is adjacent to the Park.

Observations:
Although this kiosk is in bad need of a paint job, it is the best utilized of any kiosks I came across. Besides the three Everglades Trail panels, on the opposite side are three interpretive panels for Everglades National Park. The Coe Visitor Center is well worth the visit. The bad part about the location of this kiosk is being in the middle of the parking lot, where people tend to park right in front of it. I had to wait until a van moved until I could get a good photo.
Visited 10/13/2012.

(Below: and this amusing panther statue nearby. This looks more like a fat house cat. All the Florida panthers that I have seen have been skinny and lanky, and not like this at all.)

Re:panther - yeah, & his tail looks too short & the paws look de-clawed- looks like a pudgy inbred zoo critter that had an accident to his tail.
